The stomatological hospital of wuhan university, formerly known as the stomatological hospital of hubei medical university, was founded in 1960 and is the first stomatological department established by the People's Republic of China on its own. 1962 the stomatological hospital affiliated to hubei medical college was established and opened in wuchang; 1993 the department of stomatology of hubei medical college was renamed as the school of stomatology of hubei medical university; Approved by the state council on August 2, 2000, the former wuhan university, wuhan university of water resources and electric power, wuhan university of surveying and mapping technology and hubei medical university formed a new wuhan university, and the hospital was renamed stomatological hospital of wuhan university. After decades of efforts and construction, it has developed into a higher school of stomatology integrating teaching, scientific research and medical treatment.
